TOP FLUCTUATION
The highest official fluctuation as recorded by the Australian Pricing Network (APN) during the entire on course pre-race betting period. Top Fluc is available on thoroughbred metro racing up until the first fixed odds price call comes through, usually approximately 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the race.
FIXED PRICE
Bets will be paid at the fixed price as quoted by Betstar. Once confirmed, bets are not subject to fluctuation.

An Exacta is like a Quinella however you need to select the order that the first two horses in a race will finish.

Quinellas, Quaddies, Exactas and Trifectas are now available over the internet on all Australian thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing events covered by the Victorian TAB.

QUINELLAS
To win a Quinella you need to select the two horses that will cross the line first and second in any given order.
EXACTAS
An Exacta is like a Quinella however you need to select the order that the first two horses in a race will finish.
TRIFECTAS
To win a Trifecta you need to select the runners that will finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the correct order. You can either select the horses in order or "box" your selections to maximise your winning options.
All up Doubles are also available on all Australian thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing. Please note, we do not offer TAB based daily doubles, extra doubles or running doubles.
QUADDIES
A Quaddie involves nominating the winner of four races as nominated by the Victorian TAB.
In the event of a Dead Heat for any or all of the winners, there will be as many dividends as there are correct combinations as declared by the Victorian TAB.
In the event of no divident being declared by the Victorian TAB, the dividend will be that declared by the NSW TAB. In the absence of a dividend being declared by the NSW TAB, the dividend will be that declared by TATTS.
Betstar pays the dividend and winning combinations as declared by the Victorian TAB to a maximum payout of $100,000 AUS on Australian metropolitan thoroughbred races, whilst a total maximum payout of $50,000 AUS applies to non-metropolitan thoroughbred races.

FLEXI BETTING
Flexi Betting allows you to take a Trifecta, Quinella, Exacta or Quaddie at an outlay to suit your pocket - so you can have multiple selections without being restricted by your budget!
Simply make your selections and nominate the total amount you wish to spend on your bet. Your bet will cost whatever you choose - and if you win, you will receive a percentage of the full $1 dividend.
For example, let's say you wish to box five runners in a Trifecta. This bet would normally cost $60 for a $1 unit. If you decide you want to spend $15, that's all it will cost.
$15 represents 25% of a full $1 unit (total cost of $60), meaning if successful, you will receive 25% of the full $1 Trifecta dividend. Thus, if the winning Trifecta dividend is $200 for $1, you'll collect $50. It's that easy!
The minimum cost for Flexi Betting is $1.00.
