Track: Good (4)
Ascot Race 7
CROWN PERTH-NORTHERLY STAKES
Distance: 1400m
Race Time: 7:40 PM
Race Status: (Final) Closed
Race Comments:
GALAXY STAR back after 19 week break and won both trials, leading hope. MAN BOOKER won last start at Belmont and won six of eight as a favourite, don't treat lightly. PERFECT JEWEL resumes from a spell of 45 weeks. Proven first-up winning two from two when fresh and won at York last go, not the worst. GREAT SHOT faded from front position to finish just off the winner last start at Belmont when fresh and generally races near the speed, capable of getting into the money.
